Major hockey facilities are located around Tasmania at the centres of Hockey Tasmania's various affiliated regional associations. The Tasmanian Hockey Centre, the home of Hockey Tasmania, is the major facility in the south of the state.

The world class Tasmanian Hockey Centre is located at:

The centre's three world class surfaces are situated approximately 10 minutes travel time from the city centre. The THC contains two Balsam Pacific water based SLX synthetic playing surfaces, both of which were installed prior to the successful 7th Junior Men's World Hockey Cup.
