Derwent capitalised on a depleted OHA with two clinical first half goals to ensure they celebrated the club’s 75th Anniversary with a 2-0 victory.

Derwent skipper Jess Tremayne was clearly best afield for the improving Strikers as they look to mount a serious Premiership assault.
Derwent’s Claire Saltmarsh continued her impressive season with another goal to break the deadlock in the 17th minute. Susan Kaye doubled the advantage with a classy finish from the Tasmanian representative and the Strikers proudly held on for victory.

North West Graduates fired on all cylinders with a 6-2 thumping of Canterbury. Bulldog Tara Moore scored a hat-trick while Alex Millis, Lottie White and Michelle Cooling all scored in the win. Amy Ikin was best on ground for North West as they begin to generate momentum for their premiership defence.

Prince of Wales Wellington made the most of Canterbury’s loss, reducing the deficit on fourth position with a 6-2 victory over University. Nicole Geeves was at her inspiring best with a hat-trick and was ably supported with goals to teammates Sally Westbrook, Belinda Page and Jessica Barnett. Sarah McRobbie and Catherine Webster scored the goals for University as their rebuilding process continues.

Results: Der 2 (C Saltmarsh, S Kaye) defeated OHA 0; NWG 6 (T Moore 3, A Millis, L White, M Cooling) defeated CANT 2 (S Booker, S Clauson); POWW 6 (N Geeves 3, B Page, J Barnett, S Westbrook) defeated UNI 2 (S McRobbie, C Webster).
