Hockey Tasmania has accepted an invitation to participate in a national Under 13 Invitational Tournament to be hosted in Maryborough, QLD from 4-9 October 2010.

Players wishing to be considered for selection in the Tasmanian U13 Boys’ Team or Girls' Team must complete the attached nomination form and return to Hockey Tasmania (PO Box 96 New Town TAS 7008), with the nomination fee of $25. Players eligible to nominate are those aged under 13 prior to 1 January 2010 (ie: players who turn 13 in 2010; younger players must nominate for selection in the U12 Team). Nomination forms should be returned no later than Wednesday 26 May 2010. Each player selected in an U13 team is required to have a parent accompany them on tour; or arrange to have the parent of another team member accept responsibility as their “guardian” whilst on tour.

Development Camp
Players who nominate to attend selection trials for the U13 Team are invited to attend a Development Camp, to be held at the THC on Tues 8 June – Wed 9 June 2010. Those travelling to Hobart to attend the camp should indicate on their nomination form if they would like assistance with arranging to be billeted with a local hockey family. The camp fee is $50 and must be paid in addition to the nomination fee of $25. Please read the attached information sheet and complete the nomination form if you wish to attend the Development Camp and/or attend selection trials.
