At the December meeting of the Board Mike Rego resigned from his position effective at the end of December 2011. Mike was the inaugural Deputy Chair of Hockey Tasmania and was also a member of the Finance Committee. Mike was a significant contributor to the Board, particularly with his excellent business acumen and long standing hockey involvement and he gave his time freely traveling south to Board meetings. The Board expresses its appreciation for his service.

At the Board’s January meeting Jared Hill was appointed to the casual vacancy as a Board member to serve out Mike Rego’s term expiring at the next AGM.
