The annual MIA Cup, held at the Tasmanian Hockey Centre last Saturday, has been another resounding success. The event has become a significant fundraiser for our AHL teams, the MIA Tassie Tigers and Wrest Point Van Demons (this year raising about $2,000) but has also proven to be a great pre-season warm-up event for southern clubs.

The Wrest Point Van Demons capped off a big weekend with a 5-2 win against the Presidents XI on Sunday, with goals from Lottie White , Jackie Jones (2), Ashley Robertson and Jess Tremayne.
